In my desperation to capture a bit of fall, which may never arrive here in the blistering hot desert of Tucson, I made pumpkin chicken thighs for dinner tonight. It was a recipe I found through Pinterest. They smelled delicious while cooking, actually more delicious than they were. They were tasty, but a little bland – I’m thinking adding a little green chile power would punch it up a bit.
Also bought myself some sunflowers for my table at Trader Joe’s today – they make me feel fall-y too.
